- 1
- Pieces per working day
- 48
- Staff hours per day

Capacity uses our UUNA TEK iAuto measurements. Test your own machine, materials and format before buying equipment for this volume.
Before you commit
- Confirm postage from your posting country to your destination, for the envelope size, weight and postal service. Choosing a country does not change the entered postage.
- Add your hourly staff cost. The current cost estimate includes no paid staff time.
- Add the purchase price per machine. The current cost estimate includes no machine cost.

A working day
Check one finished piece
Run a test on your paper and envelope. Check the text, address, pen marks and postal format before starting a batch.
Plan the daily batch
The target is about 48 pieces per day across 21 working days a month. Allow 2.0 hours a day for packing and refilling; the estimate uses 6 attended hours.
Keep someone on packing and refills
Assign a person to replenish paper and envelopes, check finished pieces, pack them and apply postage. Machine time does not replace this work.
Keep the overnight batch to letters
The overnight option adds one load of up to 80 letter sheets per machine. Envelope refills remain part of the attended working day. Test this arrangement before relying on it.

Measurements and assumptions
- Machine times come from our UUNA iAuto: 510 seconds for an A4 letter and 63 seconds for a DIN lang envelope. Different text, paper or hardware can change the output.
- The estimate uses 21 working days a month and 85% of attended machine time for writing.
- Packing is assumed to take 150 seconds per piece and each refill 60 seconds. These handling times have not been measured.
- The material list includes 3% waste. Pen-refill life has not been measured.
- Material prices and postage are the planner inputs. The starting postage value is a German large-letter example, not a rate lookup for your country.
- Machine cost spreads the entered price across all 1 machine in the baseline over 36 months. It does not deduct equipment you already own.
- Overnight capacity adds one load of up to 80 letter sheets per machine. No overnight envelope output is assumed.
